SONIA GANDHI AND PRANAB KUMAR MUKHERJEE JOINTLY RUINS CONGRESS PARTY IN WEST BENGAL

Today the Congress Party in West Bengal remains confined to the signboard only. Its alliance with Mamata Banerjee has cost it dearly. Total erosion has been taking place in it. Thousands of Congress workers are crossing over to TMC. Now, it is a party with only Generals and Lieutenants but with no soldiers. It has lost its total credibility and confidence in the esteem of the people of this state. The Congress Party has failed to realize that the main enemy of the Congress is not the CPI (M) but Mamata Banerjee and her party.

If the present state of affairs continues for some time, one such day will come when the Congress Party will be of nowhere and there will be none left to open even its office in West Bengal.

UPA GOVERNMENT GIFTS TELENGANA TO MAOISTS

In the past the BJP led NDA Government had bifurcated Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and Bihar to create Uttarakhand, Chattisgarh and Jharkhand in the name of better development and efficient administration. But today the net result is just opposite. All the 3 newly created states have been thrown into the flames of total lawlessness and loot. Both Chattisgarh and Jharkhand are predominately controlled by Maoist murderers and looters. The creation of these 3 states benefited the Maoists most, both financially and strategically.

Now the Congress led UPA Government has decided to bifurcate Andhra Pradesh and create a new Telengana state for obtaining petty and narrow political mileage. The Telengana region is already is already infested with Maoist activities. The unified Andhra Pradesh has been able to control it. But if the state is bifurcated, it would not be possible for the separate newly created Telengana state to control the Maoists. As a result, this new state will also pass into the hands of the Maoist goons.

In short, Telengana state is a New Year gift for the Maoists in the long run. Moreover, it has already opened the Pandora Box of smaller states.

LIVING PERSON IN THE LIST OF MAMATA ANERJEE

· Shri Joydeb Bag is the brother-in-law of Shri Arup Bhadra, who was once an MLA from Baruipur Constituency. Shri Bag owns a big shop near the Baruipur Railway Station under the name and style “Bag Electronics”. He is very much alive, physically fit and mentally alert. He is a non-political person. But Mamata Banerjee has placed this Joydeb Bag as a TMC worker murdered by the CPI (M) at serial number 6 of her false and fabricated list submitted to the Prime Minister on 04-12-2009.

· Mamata Banerjee has also mentioned the name of Mossaraf Lashkar of Diamond Harbour Parliamentary Constituency at serial number 47 her list. But the fact of the matter is that the incumbent died of heart attack. He was actually a resident of village Nirdeshkhali under Fulmalancha Gram Panchayat of Basanti P.S. under Joynagar Parliamentary Constituency.

· Similarly, the name of Rashid Molla of village Machpukur of Baruipur is at serial number 11 of her list. This Rashid Molla was killed due to family rivalry over possession of ancestral property. Politics was in no way connected with this rivalry. Nashim Ali Molla and Rashid Molla are from the same father Ujir Ali. His own elder brother Nashim Ali Molla assaulted him seriously. Later he died. His wife Alema Bibi lodged an FIR with the Baruipur PS against Nashim Ali Molla and his wife Saeeda Bibi. Nashim Ali Molla is still absconding whereas Saeeda Bib is on bail.

The name of Shamser Tarafdar of Canning remains mentioned at serial number 39 of the list. In fact, Shamser Tarafdar was a Congress worker. He was murdered on 31st July 2009. His brother Tamjer Tarafdar lodged an FIR with the Canning PS alleging that Selim Molla and Palan Mondal had murdered his brother. Selim Molla is a notorious criminal of TMC. Palan Mondal is the secretary of the local TMC.

But police cases as mentioned below are also pending against Shamser Tarafdar.

CPM WORKER BUTCHERED BY IMPOTENT MAOIST COWARDS

The Maoist-TMC butchers and rapists have brutally murdered CPI (M) member Panchanan Mahato of village Mashru under Kashijoda GP of Shalboni and Trilok Tudu of Parulia village of Shalboni in West Midnapur on 11-12-2009.

Apart from this, these cowards have abducted one CPI (M) supporter Hemanta Mahato. His whereabouts is still not known.

CPM LEADER SITARAM YETCHURY CONTRADICTS FALSE AND FABRICATED LIST OF MAMATA BANERJEE

New Delhi, 08-12-2009: The CPM on Tuesday accused the Trinamool Congress of submitting ‘false’ list of its workers allegedly killed by the Left activists in West Bengal to the Prime Minister claiming that it included names of a prominent Maoist, a CPM leader and a two-and-half year old boy.

They (the Trinamool Congress) seem to have drawn lesson from the BJP, which, after the Babri Masjid demolition, had claimed a large number of Kar Sevaks had been killed. Many of them were later found to be alive”, CPM leader Sitaram Yetchury told reporters here.

Noting that a Trinamool Congress delegation, led by its chief and railway minister Mamata Banerjee, had submitted a list of 83 of their activists allegedly killed by the CPM to the Prime Minister, he said nine of them had been identified.

While one Asit Sarkar was a well-known Maoist, another Yasin Ali Paik, was “actually a child of two-and-half years” who died of chronic illness, he said. The name of CPM activist Shankar Biswas, whose condolence meeting was attended by prominent Marxist leaders, figured on the Trinamool Congress list. One Md. Alam and another Avijit Saha were allegedly killed by Trinamool activists, he claimed.

“We are further investigating the false list submitted by Mamata. We think there are more such cases. All this canard (about CPM attacking the Trinamool Congress) is based on fabrication only to justify the patronage given by Trinamool Congress to Maoists and attacks they are mounting on us”, he said.

“We once again ask the Prime Minister how he can go on living with this contradiction” in which he calls Maoists’ threat the gravest challenge to internal security while his Cabinet colleagues “patronize” them, the Marxist leader said.

“His answer is yet to come. I hope it will”, he said. Referring to the massive bills run up by minister of state (MOS) and Trinamool leader Sultan Ahmed for staying in Ashoka Hotel instead of a government accommodation, he said the MOS had declared a total asset of Rs. 24 lakhs whereas his bill at the five-star hotel was Rs. 37 Lakh.

“As Trinamool Congress has asked Ahmed to pay the bill out of his own pocket, we wonder how he is going to do that and how the bill is finally settled. That will show the degree of their political morality.” Mr. Yetchury said.

THE FRAUDULANCE OF MAMATA BANERJEE REVEALED AGAIN

CPI (M) supporter Sarifa Bibi of Bandakhol village under Krishnanagar PS in Nadia district was brutally murdered by TMC-Maoist goons Abu Khayer Mondal, Ajai Seikh and Mujai Seikh at night of 31st July 2009. On the basis of FIR lodged by her mother-in-law Kanjina Bibi two murderers Abu Khayer Mondal and Ajai Seikh are under arrest. The main accused Mujai Seikh has been absconding.

But Mamata Banerjee has showed the name of this murdered CPI (M) supporter as TMC supporter at serial number 44 of the list submitted to the prime minister.

IIPM (THE INDIAN INSTITUTE OF PLANNING & MANAGEMENT, NEW DELHI) REWARDS MAOIST PATRONISERS AND MAOIST INTELLECTUALS

In order to encourage, enthuse and embolden the Maoist butchers and their unprecedented brutal violence, Mamata Banerjee and her team of ‘pseudo’ intellectuals, the so-called educational institution under the name and style the “Indian Institute of Planning & Management, New Delhi” has announced a reward of Rs. 5,00,000 each to Mamata Banerjee, Painter Subhaprasanna, Pradip Basu, Mahasweta Devi, Sunanda Sanyal and Medha Patkar for the ‘so-called’ salvage of democracy in West Bengal from the clutches of the Stalinist Party the CPI (M).

This private politically motivated so-called management educational institution has forgotten to accomplish the following tasks also.

· It should have also rewarded publicly Ganapati and Kishenji, topmost Maoist leaders who are organizing brutal murders of CPI (M) leaders, cadres and supporters in West Bengal every day. The management institute should not forget that the Maoist butchers and rapists had also worked sincerely with all force and resources side by side of Mamata Banerjee and her ‘pseudo’ intellectuals for the defeat of the CPI (M) in the last parliamentary elections.

· It is not understood why Gopal Krishna Gandhi, “Friend, Philosopher and Guide” of Mamata Banerjee and her rainbow alliance of Maoist-TMC-Congress-SUCI, has been ignored by IIPM. If he had been awarded, his unprecedented service to the cause of the Maoists and Mamata Banerjee would have been on record.

· IIPM has also forgotten to take into account the blind anti-Leftist and anti-democratic role of Joy Goswami, Aparna Sen, Bratya Basu, Jogen Chowdhury, Arpita Ghosh, Shaoli Mitra, Bibhas Chakraborty and other pseudo intellectuals.

· It is not also understood why they have left out leaders of Muslim and Hindu fundamentalist leaders who had also played a vital role in the defeat of the CPI (M).

· The institute have also done injustice to a few print media such as “Ananda Bazaar Patrika”, “Dainik Bartaman”, “The Statesman”, and “Pratidin” that are indulged in slanderous campaign, untruthfulness, derogatory imputations, inaccuracy, partiality, unfairness, indecency, fraudulency, deception, dishonesty, distortion of fact, manufacture and concoction of false & fake news against the CPI (M).

· The announcement of rewards proves that the IIPM is not only an educational institution. It is more than that. The mask of IIPM being a purely political organization working in the garb of an educational institution has slipped off. It is also in fact engaged in one-sided blind anti-Leftist politics in the country. So, it should get itself registered immediately as a political organization instead of engaging in hypocrisy, fraudulency and cheating. It is not understood why this political organization works in the guise of an educational institution. It should throw off the mask of an educational institution and land in direct politics in the interest of ethics and honesty.

· This institute earns crores and crores of rupees in the form of capitation fee without any mercy. Instead of rewarding politically motivated individuals, it should set up schools, colleges, hospitals and other public utility infrastructures in areas predominantly inhabited by tribals and weaker sections of the society, if it is really interested in their upward improvement. It should also provide more than 50% of seats for them free of cost, if it is really interested in their welfare.

· A Congress leader has very correctly commented recently during a panel discussion in a TV channel that it needs more than crores to purchase an MP in New Delhi whereas the pseudo intellectuals can be purchased easily by way of throwing few coins at them. The way in which IIPM rewarded the intellectuals corroborates the same. It is also beyond doubt this so-called educational institution finances these anti-Leftist politicians, pseudo intellectuals, Maoists and terrorists.

PRIME MINISTER MISLED BY MAMATA BANERJEE WITH FABRICATED LIST OF MURDERED MAOIST-TMC WORKERS IN WEST BENGAL

The list of murdered TMC workers as submitted to the Prime Minister by Mamata Banerjee has exposed again her fraudulency and deception. Here is one glaring example to prove her hypocrisy.

The name of a 12-year-old girl Rupa Biswas has been mentioned at serial number 43 of the list. At the time of her death she stayed at Bahirgachi-Bhattacharjee Para of Dharmada area under Nakashipara Police Station of Nadia district. On 26th July 2009 she was murdered after rape. The local Maoist-TMC leader Shyamal Bhattacharjee along with Sanjib Biswas, Madhukul Mondal and Tapai Ghosh are behind the bars for rape and murder on the basis of an FIR No. 339 under IPC-302/201/120-B lodged with Nakashipara Police Station on 29th July 2009 by her parents. Another TMC leader Pratap Sarkar is still absconding.

Maoist-TMC MP Tapas Paul himself had declared immediately after the recovery of the dead body of the victim that he would beat to death the culprits. When the fact about rape and murder by Maoist-TMC goons came to light even before their arrest, he thought it better to keep mum.

In this connection, it would not be out of place to mention that the father of the girl Subodh Biswas is a mere rickshaw puller.

It is most unfortunate that the name of a minor girl who was raped and murdered by TMC leaders has also found place in the list of Mamata Banerjee.

It is also most unfortunate and regrettable that the so-called champions of tribals, downtrodden and women Mahasweta Devi, Medha Patkar and Arundhati Roy are shamelessly silent on the rape and murder of Rupa Biswas. But they had resorted to false and malicious propaganda about alleged rape and murder of hundreds of women and minor girls in Nandigram without proving even a single case.

The duplicity of Mamata Banerjee and her pseudo intellectuals should be exposed thoroughly in the interest of the nation.

RAILWAY MINISTER SUBMITS MANUFACTURED LIST OF MURDERED TMC WORKERS TO THE PRIME MINISTER

The list of murdered TMC workers submitted to the prime Minister by Mamata Banerjee is proving to be false and fabricated with the disclosure of the following facts.

· At serial number 48 she has mentioned the name of Amirul Islam of Bhangar. He was actually murdered by Ajijul Islam@ Khude on 23-08-2009. Ajijul Islam is the brother of Arabul Islam, TMC MLA. He is now on the run to avoid arrest.

· Similarly, at serial number 73, the name of Shankar Biswas of Belegachi of Baruipur in 24, Parganas (S) has been mentioned. The fact of the matter is that Late Biswas was a hardcore CPI (M) worker. Maoist-TMC goons murdered him on 26-10-2009. A condolence meeting was organised at Baruipur by CPI (M) to mourn his death on 30-10-2009. Shibdas Bhattacharjee, Sujan Chakraborty, ex. M.P. and other CPI (M) leaders addressed the meeting.

· The name of Joydeb Bag of Baruipur is in the list. He was reportedly murdered after parliamentary elections. But there was no existence of such person. It is purely a fake name.

· Similarly, at serial number 71 the name of Shyamal Hazari Bermajur area of Sandeshkhali in North 24, Parganas has been shown as murdered on 26-10-2009. But there is no trace of any such person. It is purely a fabricated name.

· Again, the name of Najir Ali of Kashpukur, Bhangar in South 24, Parganas remains at serial number 23 of the list. But this person is also untraceable.

· Maoist-TMC goons Rahul Adhikari and Sambhu Adhikari had murdered Abhijit Saha of Madhyamgram on 27-09-2009 over a petty affair. But the name of Abhijit Saha has been mentioned as TMC worker.

· Yasin Ali, a baby of 2 and ½ years, of Mayureswar in Birbhum district expired due to dehydration. The name of this baby is also mentioned as a murdered TMC worker.

· Ashok Das of village Charkol of Nanur in Birbhum district was purely an antisocial. He had murdered another TMC antisocial named Apai during the 1st quarter of July 2009. In retaliation, on 21-07-2009 the associates of Apai murdered Ashok Das at Labhpur, which is situated at a distance of about 40 kilometers from Nanur.

· Mira Lasin of Nandigram is mentioned in the list. But no persona in such name is traceable at Nandigram.

· The list contains the name of Gobinda Dawn of Lalgarh. He is shown as not traceable from 20-06-2009. But the fact is that Gobinda Dawn is a Maoist squad member. He is well trained in arms and ammunitions. The operation of joint forces at Lalgarh started on and from 18th June 2009. Gobinda Dawn has gone underground since then to avoid police arrest.

MAOIST-TMC GOONS BUTCHER CPI (M) WORKER

The Maoist-TMC goons have murdered brutally Sanatan Pratihar of village Pingboni in Lalgarh at night of 06-12-2009. On the same day they torched the house of Panchanan Mahato, Secretary, CPI (M), Bhursa Branch. Besides, these goons have injured seriously a shopkeeper Dimple Roy at Ramgarh Bazar by firing at him. He has been admitted to Medinipur Medical Hospital and College.

MAOIST-TMC SLAUGHTERERS BEHEAD 2 CPI (M) LEADERS IN MOYNA BLOCK OF EAST MIDNAPUR IN WEST BENGAL

2 CPI (M) workers Bholanath Khutia and Gurupada Mondal of village Baruna under Moyna Block of East Midnapur have been beheaded by Maoist-TMC-Congress-SUCI goons on 05-12-2009 for raising their voice against the corruption of TMC controlled Bagcha Gram Panchayat. Bholanath Khutia was the Upa Pradhan of this Gram Panchayat. The beheaded bodies of both these workers have been found at a distance of about 40 KM from their residence.

MURDERED FIROJ KHAN OF MAMATA BANERJEE RETURNS ALIVE

During the Nandigram episode in 2007, the rainbow alliance of Maoists-Mamata Banerjee-Congress-SUCI, the perverted spineless sold out ‘pseudo’ intellectuals, human rights activists and politically motivated media had made a slanderous propaganda throughout the country and abroad that both the sisters were raped and murdered by the cadres of the CPI (M). Five CPI (M) cadres were put behind the bars for a long time. But the fact of the matter was that both the sisters were kept hidden in the house of TMC worker Firoj Khan at Namkhana in 24, Parganas (South). Namkhana is situated at a distance of more than 50 kilometers from Nandigram. Both the sisters were later recovered alive from the house of Firoj Khan and the allegation against the CPI (M) proved to be false and fabricated.

It is true that people have very short memory. They must have, in the meantime, forgotten Ansura Bibi and Mansura Bibi of Nandigram.

The dirty and vicious politics of the rainbow alliance and their so-called intellectuals did not stop here. They had also propagated that not only hundreds of women were raped and murdered but also the CPI (M) workers butchered thousands of children and babies. But these liars and perverts following the footsteps of Hitler and Goebbels have not yet proved a single case of rape or butchering. Their one and sole aim was go enable Mamata Banerjee to gain political dividends at any cost and anyhow.

This time, Firoj Khan himself went into hiding in the house of Rashid Ali Khan at Ganesh Nagar under Kakdwip P.S. in 24, Parganas (South). The TMC workers lodged an FIR with the Namkhana Police Station alleging that the CPI (M) workers had murdered Firoj Khan and disposed of his dead body. 37 CPI (M) workers were implicated in this false case. But on 5th December 2009 the people of Ganesh Nagar recovered him alive from the house of Rashid Khan and handed over to police.

The name of this Firoj Khan is also included in the list of so-called murdered TMC workers, which was submitted to the Prime Minister by Mamata Banerjee.
The entire politics of Mamata Banerjee and her trusted associates in fact remain standing on fraudulency, dishonesty and deception.

Kolkata, 04-12-2009: Maoists butchers shot dead three CPI (M) supporters while a policeman was injured in a landmine explosion in West Midnapore district today on the fourth day of the bandh called by the Peoples Committee against Police Atrocities (PCPA).

The three, of which two were members of the CPI(M)-backed Gana Protirodh Committee, were taken away last night by suspected Maoists and their bodies with bullet marks were found bound hand and foot this morning in Belpahari area, sources said.

Two of them, Nemai Singh and Phoni Singh, of Simulpal village, were brothers who were actively associated with the Committee, they said. They had been warned earlier by Maoists to desist from organising meetings and rallies against the Maoist-backed PCPA.

Two years ago, Maoists had blown up a van killing a doctor, a nurse and their driver at the same village. Meanwhile, a policeman was injured in a landmine blast at Ramgarh today, they said.

The director general of police Bhupinder Singh had yesterday said that 70 to 75 people had been killed in the district since the tribal agitation began a year ago.

Interview with Prakash Karat, general secretary, CPI(M)

PRAKASH KARAT SAYS the Maoists will end up helping the state.

AS a party based on the Marxist-Leninist ideology, the Communist Party of India (Marxist) has serious differences in theory and practice with the Maoist groups in the country. In an interview to Frontline, party general secretary Prakash Karat explained why the tactics of the Maoist groups will never help solve the problem of poverty. Excerpts:

Q: How does the CPI(M) assess the spurt of Maoist activity? Politically, how do you view the approach of the Maoist groups?

KARAT: The Maoists claim to be a revolutionary force. But they are far from being an organisation based on a Marxist outlook. Though they call themselves a communist party, their ideology and practice go against the basic principles of Marxism and what a communist party should be. Their programme and practice are flawed; they do not even recognise the realities. They harp on India being still a semi-colonial country; their politics is based on the gun and the use of violence, which essentially disrupts the working class movement and mass mobilisation. By indulging in senseless violence mainly directed at its political opponents, the Maoists end up helping the state to come down heavily on the people they claim to champion.

Q: The Left Front government in West Bengal has been at the receiving end of such violence for some time now. How has the character of such activities changed over the years?

KARAT: The Maoists have been trying to organise and be active in West Bengal for quite some time now. They have failed to acquire a mass base. Where they are active is mainly in the border districts of Paschim Medinipur, Purulia and Bankura, all bordering Jharkhand. Here we have seen how, in the past few months, they have systematically targeted the cadre and supporters of the CPI(M). Though they claim to have popular support, the Maoists are not willing to put it to the test. The CPI(M), which has a large mass base among the tribal people, is opposed to the disruptive politics and violence of the Maoists. That is why they are indulging in targeted assassinations and killings. Some of the people they have killed have been executed in a brutal fashion, in front of their family members. How can the killing of CPI(M) workers, most of them poor tribal people, be considered a revolutionary activity by any standard? It is now well known that the Maoists collaborated with the Trinamool Congress to fight the CPI(M) and the Left Front. This is a feature of the Maoists elsewhere too. Their squads have no hesitation in backing one bourgeois party or the other. It can be seen in Bihar and in other States too. Most of the people killed by the Maoists, apart from policemen, are poor peasants, agricultural workers or the rural poor.

Q: There has been a palpable change in the Central government’s approach to these Maoist groups. It now views them as a serious threat. At the Chief Ministers’ conference on internal security in Kolkata recently, Home Minister P. Chidambaram described naxalites as the biggest threat to internal security. Do you think that just stepping up police and other paramilitary support is enough to quell the activities of these groups?

KARAT: As far as the CPI(M) is concerned, we think that the Maoists have to be fought and countered politically and ideologically. Wherever they are active and try to mobilise the tribal people and poorer sections, they must be combated politically. When they indulge in violence and terrorising of political opponents, administrative steps have to be taken to curb them. It is not possible to deal with them only politically when they are resorting to large-scale killing. In Lalgarh alone, in the past few months, more than 60 CPI(M) supporters were killed by the Maoists.

The Central government has announced it will deploy more paramilitary forces in some of the Maoist-affected States. This alone is not sufficient. In those areas, the government must embark upon socio-economic development; there have to be immediate measures to execute land reforms and provide basic services to the people. Without a comprehensive approach that deals with people’s problems in backward and tribal areas, the Maoist threat cannot be contained. The government should identify such areas and plan concrete measures, which is not being done sufficiently at present.

The Maoists have to understand that they won’t be able to accomplish anything by their sectarian and adventurous approach of resorting to arms and violence. They should learn from the experience of the Maoist party in Nepal. Building a mass movement on a political platform and relying on the people for political change can be the only correct perspective.

Q: There have been expressions of support for the Maoist cause, sporadically of course, from a section of the intelligentsia. It confers a certain degree of legitimacy to the Maoist approach and acceptance of their tactics.

KARAT: Some intellectuals and civil liberties organisations refuse to see the enormous damage being done by the Maoists by their senseless and indiscriminate violence. For some of these intellectuals, it seems as if they do not want to get into the hard work and grind of building a genuine mass movement but take vicarious satisfaction in supporting such pseudo-revolutionary activities.

Poverty can never be eliminated by such violent tactics as it only disrupts the possibility of developing a powerful and united mass struggle against exploitation and the iniquitous order. By just targeting a few so-called enemies of the people, one cannot bring about any change in the system of injustice existing today.

DOUBLE FOUNDATION STONE LAYING OF THE SAME BRIDGE BY MAOIST RAILWAY MINISTER!

As the Railway Minister in the NDA Government, Mamata Banerjee had laid the foundation stone of bridge on river Ganges at Naihati between Naihati and Bandel in West Bengal on 26th June 2002 and named it Bankim Bridge. The stone still remains exposed and shining. The construction work is going on and 40% to 45% of the same is almost complete.

It is ridiculous to find that Mamata Banerjee has again inaugurated the construction of the same bridge for the 2nd time on 08-11-2009 spending extravagantly huge public money in the midst of her sycophants, perverted intellectuals and Maoist-TMC goons. This time she has renamed it as “Sampriti Bridge”. This is unprecedented in the history of not only the Indian Railway but also that of the country.

Since her taking over the charge of the Railway Ministry, the number of accidents, accidental deaths and damage to railway properties by her ally the Maoists have increased manifold. Instead of giving attention to the safety and security of the passengers and the railway properties, she has shamelessly been performing political circus and gimmick at the cost of the public money for petty political gains. Most of the time she remains in West Bengal engaged in creating a reign of terror and lawlessness wherever she goes, inaugurating old trains in new names and other political stunts and drama.

The Prime Minister should look into this matter and advise her to discharge her constitutional responsibilities instead of performing tricks and feats of political jugglery.

WHY MAHASWETA DEVI AND OTHER PSEUDO INTELLECTUALS SILENT ON RAPE AND MURDER OF A GIRL IN NAKASHIPARA, WEST BENGAL BY MAOIST-TMC MAFIA GOONS?

The dead body of a girl Rupa Biswas of village Bahirgachi under Nakashipara Police Station in Nadia district was found on 26-07-2009 in the village. It was confirmed that the girl was murdered after rape. The Maoist-TMC Member of Parliament Tapas Pal, under whose constituency the areas falls, went to the spot and while addressing the agitated people asked them to beat the unknown rapists to death otherwise he himself would do so.

On 29-10-2009 on the basis of definite information and investigation the police has arrested local Maoist-TMC Mafia leader Shyamal Bhattacharjee and 3 other TMC-Maoist Mafia goons for rape and murder of Rupa Biswas.

It is not only most unfortunate and but also shameful and shocking for the society that the so-called intellectuals and human rights activists, who are on the pay roll of finance capital, big business houses and imperialists, have not uttered a single word against one after another rape and murder committed by their beloved TMC-Maoist ‘so-called’ revolutionaries. But during the Nandigram episode these politically motivated perverts had unleashed a flood of false and manufactured propaganda of rape of women and murder of children.

SOCALLED INTELLECTUALS MAINTAIN CRIMINAL SILENCE ON INHUMAN BRUTALITY BY THEIR BELOVED MAOIST MAFIAS AND BUTCHERS

There is no denying the fact that the society demands timely and proper disposal of the dead body of even a creature with due honour and respect. But the whole world witnessed with horror and shock how the dead bodies of 4 poor tribal CPI (M) cadres butchered by Maoist-TMC-Congress-SUCI Alliance were kept in open for 5 days in a stretch without allowing their disposal by the Maoist-TMC criminals at Lalgarh in West Bengal. Their relatives were neither allowed to cry nor come near and touch the bodies of their dear and beloved ones. The Maoist-TMC goons danced and sang around the bodies with drums and other musical instruments in the same manner as cannibals practice the ritual before consuming dead human bodies. Their brutality and inhumanity surpassed all limits of human tolerance and society.

In the meantime, Maoist-TMC goons have already butchered more than 300 innocent people. Out of this 300, more than 100 are tribals.

But it is most shocking and shameful to find that the perverted intellectuals who often talk about human rights and tribal’s welfare have not yet come out with any statement condemning the on-going ghastly incidents in West Bengal. On the other hand, these hypocrites on the pay roll of imperialists, big business house and finance capital are helping the Maoist-TMC murderers and rapists in creating a reign of terror in West Bengal to dislodge the Left Front Government anyhow and at any cost to please their masters.

MAMATA BANERJEE REMOVES ALL CHAIRMEN OF RAILWAY RECRUITMENT BOARDS TO FILL UP 1, 72,444 GROUP ‘C’ AND ‘D’ VACANT POSTS WITH MAOIST-TMC MAFIA GOONS

The Maoist Railway Minister has all on a sudden removed 20 chairmen of the Railway Recruit Boards out 21 in the country before expiry of their term without assigning any reason thereof and appointed her own sycophants and men in their place. Almost all the removed officials were senior officials of the Indian Railways and appointed during the regime of her predecessor. This pre-planned action on her part is unprecedented in the history of the Indian Railways.

Now, the following pertinent questions have arisen very logically and reasonably.

(1) What were the grounds for their removal?

(2) If they are engaged in corruption or are inefficient, why the same have not yet been made public?

(3) If they were engaged in corruption, why action on that basis has not yet been initiated against them?

(4) What are the qualifications of those appointed newly in their places?

(5) Are all the newly appointed Chairmen honest and efficient?

In this connection, it would be not out of place to mention that 1, 72,444 vacancies in the Group ‘C’ and ‘D’ posts are lying vacant in the railways. The TMC leaders and workers have been distributing forms in different places of West Bengal for appointment in these vacant railway posts.

Maoist Mamata Banerjee thinks the Indian Railways is her own private property. The above-mentioned action of the Maoist Railway Minister is to pave way for the appointment of Maoist-TMC Mafia goons in the 1, 72,444 vacancies illegally throwing to winds all recruitment rules and regulations. So, she needs her own men on the Railway Recruitment Boards in 20 cities of the country.

It is pertinent to mention that she has already appointed Subhaprasanna Bhattacharjee, Shaoli Mitra and other Maoist ‘pseudo’ intellectuals on different committee of the railways at the cost of huge public money. She did not stop here. She has provided them with life-long Free A.C. Railway Passes with one companion for campaigning in her favour in the last Parliamentary Elections, 2009.

The Prime Minister should cause immediately a detailed and thorough enquiry into the reshuffle of the Railway Recruitment Boards and place the fact before all in national interest because Indian Railways is not the private property of any individual or political party.

INDIAN RAILWAYS LANDS IN TOTAL INSECURITY DUE TO NEXUS BETWEEN MAMATA BANERJEE AND MAOISTS

The Adra Division of the Eastern Railways has been under constant attack of the Maoist Mafias for the last two years. This division falls within the Maoist Mafia infested Jangalmahal area. The railway employees of this have been working with their life in their hands. Their life has become more unsafe and risky with the installation of Maoist Mamata Banerjee as the Railway Minister. Both the Maoists and the TMC goons roam together with arms in these areas. Many officials and employees suffering from insecurity are trying to get themselves transferred to other divisions. The Maoist-TMC goons often come to the railway officials in search for names and addresses of the contractors so as to extort from them. Besides, the TMC goons are trying to force the railway officials to employ their own men.

The Railway Protection Force could not take any action against the Maoist-TMC goons. The gang men, gate men and porter men have to work on the railway tracks in isolated places without any security. There are no firearms in the hands of the R.P.F. guarding trains from Chandil to Purulia Railway Station. The few R.P.F. with arms on 315 UP Chakradharpur-Howrah Train passing through Maoist infested areas always remain panicky.

The detention of Rajdhani Express by Maoists at Banstala Railway Station on 27th October, 2009 in collusion with the Maoist Railway Minister for the release of Maoist leader Chatradhar Mahato has increased their panic and apprehension manifold. A few glaring examples of the sabotage caused by the Maoists in collusion with TMC in the said division are furnished as hereunder.

(1) The Maoist-TMC goons blow up the railway station of Biramdih falling in between Adra-Chandil Section on 26-06-2007.

(2) Posters threatening the railway employees of Biramdih Railway Station were pasted on 14th August 2007.

(3) Heavy damage was caused to the Biramdih Railway Station on 13th May 2008 being the previous day of the Bandh called by the Maoists.

(4) A R.P.F man was killed and his arm was snatched at Barabhum Railway Station.

(5) The gang men recovered a landmine planted at the Biramdih Railway Station on 22nd June 2009.

(6) Bob blast by Maoists near Ursha Railway Station.

(7) Blowing up railway tracks between Ursha and Kantadih Railway Station by Maoists on 2nd October 2009.

(8) The detention of Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express at Banstala Railway Station by Maoist-TMC goons for the release of Maoist terrorist Chatradhar Mahato.

It is high time that the Prime Minister should cause a detailed enquiry by CBI into the activities of the Maoist Railway Minister so as to ensure safety and security of not only the railway passengers but also the entire railways in national interest.

HOME MINISTER REFUSES TO LEARN ANY LESSON FROM THE PAST

The German People and a section of the intelligentsia raised Hitler to power in 1933. Hitler became a dictator and plunged the whole of Germany into 2nd World War. At the end of the 2nd World War it was found that beside other losses at least one person from each and every family had lost his life as a result of the war.

Indira Gandhi created Bhindranwale and installed him at the Amritsar Golden Temple to counter the Akali Dal in Punjab Politics. Consequently, she had to pay price by giving up her own life on 30th October 1984.

United States of America in collusion with Pakistan created Taliban to overthrow the Communist Government led by Nazibullah. Today Pakistan and its people are suffering immensely at the hands of Taliban.

Once, both Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi had supported L.T.T.E. and allowed it to open training centers on the soil of the country. Ultimately, Rajiv Gandhi had to pay high price by way of sacrificing his own life.

The people sitting at the helm affairs in New Delhi once supported the splinter groups of Kashmir to counter Seikh Abdullah, Farooq Abdullah and his party. Today Kashmir suffers for the same.

In North-East separatists were once supported to create problems for the opposition led governments. The country has still been paying for the same.

The ruling party at the centre and its allies has not learnt any lesson from the past. Mamata Banerjee and her associates have brought Maoists into West Bengal and have been supporting all separatist forces to dislodge the ruling Left Front Government. These irresponsible political leaders have forgotten that politics will not end with the removal of the Left Front Government. The Frankenstein that they have created today for undermining the Leftists in order to gain electoral gains will also haunt them in future and they will have to face the same fate in the coming days as those of the present day victims.

P. CHIDAMBRAM CHEATS THE NATION FOR NARROW ELECTORAL GAINS

Many possessed so far a high impression about Shri P. Chidambaram that he is a man of principle, integrity, honesty and functions above party lines. His fight and caution against Maoist menace in the country is genuine and guided by national interest. But his recent irresponsible, narrow and politically motivated utterances and brazen distortion of facts have shattered all these impressions.

He is the Home Minister of the country. So, he must have enough proof from his own intelligence source that Mamata Banerjee is actively hand in gloves with the Maoists. It is seen that the TMC and SUCI workers are openly working with the Maoists everywhere. The insurgence of Maoists in Nandigram, Singur, Arambagh, Mangalkote, Jangalmahal and other areas could not have been successful without the active help of the Railway Minister. It is an open secret that in Kolkata also Maoists are organizing rallies, processions, seminars and meetings in collusion with TMC and SUCI workers in broad daylight. The hijacking of the Rajdhani Express at Banstala Railway Station was no exception to this. The role played by the Indian Railways is sufficient to prove the nexus between Mamata Banerjee and the Maoists.

There is no denying the fact that the Left Front Government is the biggest obstruction to the implementation of Privatization, Globalization and Liberalization followed by the UPA Government. West Bengal is the only state where land reforms have been implemented successfully. Apart from this, the Coalition Government has been running successfully for the last 32 years. Elections to all local bodies are held democratically and timely. It is standing as an exemplary political formation and pillar of the mainstream leftists. The Congress Party believes in one party rule. So, removal of the Left Front Government is necessary not only for the Central Government but also for the imperialists, foreign finance capital and landlords to pave way for their own vested interests.

The aim and objective of P. Chidambram, Mamata Banerjee and the Maoist leader Kishanji is one and same that is removal of the Left Front Government and installation of Mamata Banerjee as the next Chief Minister of West Bengal anyhow and at any cost. So, all of them have been working in unison covertly and/or overtly to undermine the same.

In spite of knowing fully that only the CPI (M) is the victim of the brutalities committed by the Maoists along with TMC and SUCI, he most irresponsibly commented that the Maoists and the CPI (M) are friends. His words supporting the collaborators of a banned organization are guided by narrow political considerations for obtaining electoral gains at the cost of the nation. It is also aimed at to demoralize or maneuver the joint forces fighting against the Maoists; otherwise why it could not yet bring the Maoist activities in Jangalmahal under control. This sort of anti-national attitude on his part is unbecoming of a Home Minister. Moreover, his so-called fight against Maoists is nothing but eyewash; otherwise he would not have played this sort of duplicity and fraudulence with the nation. It proves beyond doubt that the nation is not safe at the hands of this gentleman who himself is politically biased, prejudiced and unfair.

He must keep in mind that in the same manner Indira Gandhi had created Bhindranwale and installed him at the Amritsar Golden Temple to counter the Akali Dal in Punjab Politics. Consequently, she had to pay price by giving up her own life on 30th October 1984 at the hands of Khalistanis.

As a matter of fact, the Maoist problem in West Bengal is a joint venture of P. Chidambram, Mamata Banerjee and the Maoist leader Kishanji aiming at destabilizing the Left Front Government consisting of the mainstream Leftist parties.

MEDHA PATKAR, MAHASWETA DEVI AND OTHER INTELLECTUALS SILENT ON MURDER OF 75 YEAR OLD WOMAN AND RAPE OF HER DAUGHTER-IN-LAW BY MAOIST –TMC GOONS

The unprecedented brutality and violence of the Maoist-TMC action squad members in West Bengal particularly one women and minor girls keep on increasing dangerously with the passage of each day.

(1) In last July 2009 a poor underprivileged woman Anjali Maiti of Tikashi Gram Panchayat under Khejuri Police Station was repeatedly raped in a stretch for some days by Maoist-TMC action squad members taking advantage of the absence of her husband, who, being a CPI (M) supporter, had fled to save his life from the wrath of the killers leaving behind his wife to look after the ancestral home.

(2) On 27th September 2009 at about 9-00 p.m. 35-40 Maoist-TMC armed goons attacked Muslim dominated locality of Mollapara in CPI (M) supporter village called Baradighrui under Purshura Police Station in Hooghly district of West Bengal. During this attack, they torched most of the houses of the poor people and assaulted seriously CPI (M) farmer leader Seikh Hashibul Hussain. His waist and legs were not only broken to pieces but was also repeatedly stabbed seriously in the back with pointed spears.

He was admitted to Arambagh Hospital and after fighting with death for 11 days he expired on 9th October 2009.

After attacking Seikh Hashibul Hussein, they went to the nearby house of another CPI (M) supporter family belonging 75 year old Saifunissa. Seeing them approaching, all her sons named Sk. Mossaraf Hussain, Sk. Nazir, Sk. Mujibur Rehaman, Sk. Moyunuddin, Sk. Nayeem and other male members fled to save their lives leaving behind female members and children. The goons started to assault females. One of them snatched 1.1/2 years grandson Riyaz from the lap of his mother and tried to throw him into the nearby pond. Seeing this Saifunissa prevented him from doing so. At this the goons became furious and started to beat her with sticks and bamboos. She received serious injuries in her left leg. The brutality of the Maoist-TMC criminals did not stop here. Some of them caught one of her daughter-in-laws Siddique Begum and gangraped her repeatedly. Other female members were also molested.

Saifunissa remained lying in the house suffering for two days without any treatment as nobody dared enter her house. On 29th September 2009 she was rescued by the police and admitted to Arambagh Government Hospital.

On seeing deterioration in her health, she was referred to S.S.K.M. Hospital on 9th October 2009 in a serious condition. The attending physicians expressed the need for amputation of her left leg to save her life. But she was practically in a coma without responding to medical treatment and succumbed to her fatal serious injuries at 4-30 p.m. on 4th November 2009.

Instead of showing any sympathy for the old lady of 75, Mamata Banerjee, in order to protect the offenders, declared brazenly in a mass meeting at Arambagh in the afternoon of the same day that Saifunissa Bibi had died a natural death. She did not stop here. She incited her supporters to create such a situation so that the Central Government will be forced to impose President’s Rule in West Bengal advancing the assembly elections scheduled to be held in 2011.

Next day Saifunissa Bibi was laid in rest in the graveyard of her family by her sons and near relatives. But all of them had to leave their ancestral home immediately to pass their days in the refugee camps.

(3) At night of 22nd October 2009 in the village of Mogra in Ramchak Gram Panchayat under Moyna Police Station in East Midnapur, West Bengal the Maoist-TMC action squad members under the leadership of one Pankaj Mondal in a conciliation meeting asked a widow and mother of three children Smt. Malabika Maji to commit suicide after giving her bad name on false grounds. When the helpless lady refused to do so, she was tied to a big tree and torched after pouring kerosene on her body. However, she was rescued by the villagers and admitted to Moyna Rural Hospital where she is still fighting for her life.

The West Bengal Women’s Commission has already caused detailed investigations into the gruesome incidents and found all of them true. The Commission has condemned them in the strongest possible manner and recommended the state government to take exemplary drastic actions against the Maoist-TMC culprits.

But it is most unfortunate, shameful, shocking and regrettable that the ‘so-called’ contractors of the civil society and savior of tribals in the garb of intellectuals, foreign funded agents working in the guise of human rights activists and the politically motivated media have not yet come out with any statement or writing condemning the ghastly incidents of atrocities on helpless poor women because all these atrocities fall within the purview of revolutionary performance and activities of CPI (Maoist)-TMC Alliance and its vanguards fighting against the CPI (M).

MAMATA BANERJEE CREATES A REIGN OF TERROR IN WEST BENGAL FOR IMPOSITION OF PRESIDENT'S RULE

Some sycophants and perverts try to term Mamata Banerjee as a firebrand leader. Is it really so? If anyone tries to look at her past and present track of records, he will find that she is nothing but a personification of indiscipline, destruction immoral principles, opportunism, conveniences, Fascism, arrogance, blatant lies and duplicity.

There is no denying the fact that wherever she goes, she accompanies with her a force engaged in destruction, obstruction, assault, hooliganism, rowdyism, loot, provocation,fire setting, murder, plunder and rape. She and her colleagues speak the language of the underworld.

The whole country saw how Mamata Banerjee and her perverted goons on the slightest pretext had destroyed the valuable property inside the West Bengal Legislative Assembly, again and again burnt all kinds of both public and private vehicles to ashes, damaged government offices and its properties worth crores and crores of rupees. She had obstructed railways tracks and National Highways for days together during Singur and Nandigram agitations including Durgapur Highway Express. She did not forcibly allow coming up industries and executing developmental works in the state.

The Indian Railways is in a mess under her. The safety and security of the passengers are in danger. In fact, her political friends the Maoists have a free hand in the railways.

Now, she is hell bent on burning the state by way of creating a reign of terror and complete lawlessness to facilitate paving way for the imposition of President’s rule so as to advance as early as possible the assembly elections scheduled to be held in 2011.

The Maoist Fascists with red flags, imperialists, international finance capital, big business houses, ‘pseudo’ intellectuals and politically motivated media back her dangerous mission and operation. The present violence taking place in Lalgharh, Khanakul, Nanoor, Mangalkote and other parts of the state is nothing but part and parcel of this game plan hatched with Maoists, pseudo intellectuals and politically motivated media favouring her.

CREATION OF "RED CORRIDOR" BY MAOISTS

Some ‘so-called’ intellectuals as well as ‘pseudo’ human rights activists representing the Maoists have been urging the Governments both at the centre and the states to lay down arms and shun ‘so-called’ state terror as a pre-condition for a dialogue with the Maoists. They are of course intentionally playing into the hands of the antinational terrorist outfit with some ulterior motive despite knowing fully their ultimate aim, objective and modus operandi.

These perverts never condemn one after another brutality perpetrated by the Maoists in different states for the last few years. Abduction, extortion of money at gun point, butchering, open trial & sentencing to death in public and other gruesome activities on the part of the Maoists seem to them a birthright of the perpetrators. On the other hand, whenever the Government arrests any of them or takes any action in the defence of the common people from he Maoist marauders they plunge into the arena making a hue and cry in the name of ‘so-called’ human rights and natural justice for them under the constitution, which the Maoists discard.

The Maoists believe in the “annihilation of class enemies” and in “extreme violence” as a means to armed seizure of state power through guerrilla warfare. With this perspective, participation in elections and engagement with the prevailing ‘democracy’ are rejected. Their actions and ideas are incompatible to a democratic set up.

As part of its strategy, the cadres of both the CPI and the CPI (M) are declared as class enemies; whereas Mamata Banerjee, her party TMC and SUCI are considered class friends.

It supports all the ‘so-called’ nationalities’ struggles going in different parts of the country including ‘Gorkhaland’ and ‘Kamtapuri’ agitations for separate homelands, armed struggle in ‘Kashmir’ by Pakistani supported militants for independence and all secessionist movements of northeast.

Its armed force have 7000 armed cadres, 6000 fire arms including a large number of rifles of AK variety, light machine guns, self-loading rifles, carbines, 303s, grenades, revolvers, pistols and landmine technologies. It has also a technical squad which manufactures 12 bore guns and its ammunitions, repairs all kinds of weapons and assembles grenades.

This Maoist terrorist outfit is actually a perversion of Marxism-Leninism. It is an organization of assassins, hired killers, extortionists, blackmailers and mercenaries. It reportedly owns a fund amounting to more than 1,500 crores. The operation of the Maoists not only remain concentrated to kidnapping and looting of passengers traveling in trains and buses but also felling and selling of costly trees in collusion with wood smugglers in Jharkhand, Lalgarh, Jangalmahal and other areas. They also blow up bridges and other structures made of low quality materials to destroy proofs and evidences in order to help the contractors in exchange of money. In the name of fighting SEZ they are actually creating their own SEZ (Special Exploitation Zone) wherein these activities can be carried out uninterruptedly in the name of ‘so-called’ revolution and ‘Maoism’.

It must be underlined that contrary to the claims made by a section of pro-Maoist intellectuals that they are revolutionaries; these self-styled Maoists have nothing in common with the work and practice of the great revolutionary Mao-Ze Dong. During the lifetime and after the demise of Comrade Mao, the Chinese Communist Party (CPC) never used the term ‘Maoism,’ to denote a new theory. Rather, in the literature of the CPC and in the documents of their Party Congress's, the CPC has said that it follows Marxism-Leninism and Mao-ze Dong Thought.

It is evident through the interpretation of the CPC how Mao applied Marxism-Leninism to the specific conditions obtaining in China basing on its special characteristics. This is known as Mao-ze Dong thought. Those who are using the term ‘Maoism,’ are completely disregarding and dishonoring the vast revolutionary activities of Mao. These self-styled Maoists have degenerated into armed groups and have no qualms in killing poor people who dare oppose their extortionist terror.

This terrorist outfit is active in 156 districts of 17 states that include Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Orissa, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, West Bengal, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Uttaranchal and Kerala. It is responsible for 90% of the violence in the country. 721 people were killed in 1,591 Maoist attacks in 2008 and till August this year, 1,405 attacks claimed 580 lives spread over 11 states.

Maoist influence runs through a stretch of territory referred to as the "Red Corridor". This extends from the in Andhra Pradesh through and up to Bihar. Their objective of 'liberating' their proposed “Compact Revolutionary Zone” (CRZ) in other words “Red Corridor” extends from Nepal through Bihar Jharkhand in the North to Maharashtra, Chhattisgarh, Dandakaranya region (forest areas of Central India) and Telangana region of Andhra Pradesh in the South. Areas in western Orissa and eastern Uttar Pradesh are also under Maoist influence. And they have some presence in Tamil Nadu and Karnataka as well. In most areas of the “Red Corridor” they operate as a hit-and-run force.

The intention is to have a continuous stretch of territory under their influence and control, with the ultimate goal of eventually "liberating" the entire zone. Large parts of this territory have already been brought under the extremist influence with only some link-ups now necessary in the remaining pockets to make the CRZ a reality. Once achieved, the CRZ will virtually drive a wedge through the vital areas of the country, and would help crystallize linkages with other Maoist groups operating in South Asia.

Districts that fall in the “Red Corridor” are rich in minerals like iron ore and bauxite. But the people living there, who are largely Adivasi or tribal are desperately poor. Exploited by forest officials, contractors, mining companies and middlemen and neglected by the state, villagers in the Red Corridor are among the worst off in the country. And it is to liberate them from their oppressors and the Indian state that the Maoists claim to be waging their armed struggle.

It is true the Maoists have improved life for the Adivasis by forcing local officials to dig wells or pay better wages to the villagers. But over time, the liberators have turned oppressors themselves. Villagers who don't obey the Maoists have been killed and Maoist violence stands in the way of development projects. The Maoists have worsened the daily lives of some of India's most exploited people.

As a matter of fact, the Maoists want to create a new independent domain within the country where the Indian Constitution shall not be applicable. This one and only one aim and objective will be achieved with the help of other anti-national outfits, ‘so-called’ intellectuals, ‘pseudo’ human rights activists, a section of media glorifying them and forces across the border.

WHY PERVERTED INTELLECTUALS ARE SILENT ON MURDER OF TWO POLICE OFFICERS AT SANKRAIL POLICE STATION BY MAOISTS?

Mahasweta Devi and modern Rasputin Subhaprasanna and their team of ‘pseudo’ intellectuals remained silent when:

· Maoists in Lalgarh and Jangalmahal areas butchered 35 police personnel.

· The ambulance carrying Dr. Dhaniram Mandi, Nurse Bharati Majhi and Driver Pranay Mishir was blown up by Maoists killing all of them.

· Three Election Commission (EC) personnel, Prasad Banerjee, Sougata Karmakar and Sanjay Das (driver), were killed when Maoists triggered a landmine blast targeting their convoy after polling in Jamboni on 30th April, 2009.

· The Maoist-TMC-Congress-SUCI Alliance did not allow the relatives to dispose of the dead bodies of Salku Soren and 3 other poor tribals butchered by Maoists for 5 days.

· The Maoists and TMC workers danced and sang around the bodies of Salku Soren and 3 others for 5 days in the same manner as is practiced by cannibals.

· 2 policemen Sabbir Molla and Kanchan Gorai were abducted by Maoists on 30-07-2009. Still their whereabouts are not known.

· Kartick Mahato, a teacher, was butchered by Maoists within the classroom of a primary school in front of his students.

· The Maoists killed two police officers Dibakar Bhattacharjee and Swapan Roy within Sankrail Police Station in West Midnapur district abducted the Officer-in-Charge Atindra Narayan Dutta, looted 6 rifles, 1 revolver, 4 pistols and Rs. 9,27,000/- from the adjacent State Bank of India on 20-10-2009.

These hypocrites and perverts are not seen organizing processions, demonstrations, meetings, seminars and so on against the killing of innocent people by their darling Maoists, who are nothing but modern form of Fascists with red flag. On the other hand, they are shamelessly advocating for the “human rights” of the butchers.

The bankruptcy and lack of pragmatism of ‘pseudo’ intellectual Mahaseta Devi and her team of neo-Nazist intellectuals stand exposed. So long, they tried to pretend that they are apolitical. They are not affiliated to any one political party. They are committed to the democratic environment and freedom of speech. Anyone without a political banner can join their movement provided her/his concern about the alleged ongoing left-terror in the state is genuine. But during last Parliamentary Elections, 2009 they not only nakedly sang, danced and performed feats and tricks of jugglary i.e. “Madari Ka Khel” to the tune of Mamata Banerjee but also worked wholeheartedly in favour of her rainbow alliance.

But the question arises who led and funded these hypocrites.

There is no deying the fact that the ‘Swajan’ activists are being mentored by the print media “Ananada Bazaar Patrika” and the electronic media “Star Anand” known for their notorious anti-Communist stand. This is the same newspaper which, during Indo-China conflict in 1962, played an important role in spreading jingoism in the name of freedom of speech. It published a regular column named ‘Freedom of the Artist’ where almost all the prestigious authors and artists wrote about their disillusionment with the Communist system. Satyajit Ray did not take part in that procession of slanders, and an angry ABP wrote the editorial ‘Why is Ray silent in such a crisis of the country?’
This is the same newspaper that called for banning the leftist playwright Utpal Datta’s drama ‘Kallol’ which was based on the Royal Indian Navy Mutiny. The Congress goons attacked a show and stopped it. In response, ABP called for a public boycott of all those artists who acted in the play.

So, there is small doubt about the meaning of this seeming apolitics when it is known that ABP has been backing the efforts of these intellectuals for the last two years. Firstly it was named ‘Sushil Samaj’, then ‘Nagarik Samaj’ (literally more close to civil society), then ‘Biddwajan” (intellectuals), and lastly, ‘Swajan’. There seems to be a hard attempt to sell the newly invented product in the market. It is proved beyond doubt that the ‘pseudo’ intelligentsia have been playing a puppet in the hands of big media and international finance capital.

Interestingly, the voice of these intellectuals can’t be differentiated from that of the proponents of the neo-liberal economy who say that politics is dirty and development should be freed from political colour. Our ‘so-called’ intellectuals also say that politics is dirty and struggle against development should be freed from political colour.
Is this so that big media houses encash this apolitics to create a market of anti-communism, a market where freedom of speech and right to vote will walk hand in hand with the idea of anti-Stalinism (anti CPI (M) in our case). There definitely lies a nexus between the big media houses and international finance capital. Their pro-investment, neo liberal strategies have a mask of apolitics to attract the rising middle class of India. But in reality, it only strengthens the hand of US imperialism and neo-Nazism. For example, the same ABP who mentored the ‘Swajan’ activists in their so called anti neo- liberal struggle, is wholeheartedly supported the Indo-US nuclear deal, US War on Iraq & Afghanistan, and launched attack on the leftists, especially the CPI (M), for blocking the agreement.

The CPI (M), on the other hand, has a communist ideology, a concrete agenda and specific political directives. Among the cult of the erosion of politics, the CPI (M) is the rarest of the rare examples. Therefore its presence is dangerous.
Hence, it is not surprising that these intellectuals don’t utter a single word against the rise of finance capital, neo-liberal aggression and its Indian collaborators, the BJP and the Congress, or their sister concern in West Bengal, the TMC). They never raised their voice against the Hyde act or US naval activities, or against the New Economic Policy of the Centre. The only target is the CPI (M) as the epitome of suppression of voice, corruption, rape of democracy and injustice to the poor.

MAHASWETA DEVI AND HER TEAM OF FRAUDS

‘Pseudo’ Intellectual Mahasweta Devi and her team of hypocrites declare that they are apolitical. They are not affiliated to any one political party. Interesting parallels from an article written under the caption ‘The CIA and the Cultural Cold War Revisited’ by James Petras published in November 1999 in the Monthly Review can be drawn.

The article details how the CIA penetrated and influenced a vast array of cultural organizations during the cold war. Some parts of the article detailing the attitudes of intellectuals funded or promoted by such organizations are furnished below.

“What was particularly bizarre about this collection of CIA-funded intellectuals was …… their pretense that they were disinterested seekers of truth, iconoclastic humanists, freespirited intellectuals, or artists for art’s sake, who counterposed themselves to the corrupted "committed" house "hacks" of the Stalinist apparatus.” (p 2)

“The CIA was especially keen on publishing disillusioned ex-communists like Silone, Koestler, and Gide…… None of these prestigious intellectuals dared to raise any doubts or questions regarding U.S. support of the mass killing in colonial Indochina and Algeria, the witch hunt of U.S. intellectuals or the paramilitary (Ku Klux Klan) lynchings in the southern United States. Such banal concerns would only "play into the hands of the Communists," “(p 3)
(Thespian Bibhash Chakrabarty or Kaushik Sen were once seen sticking to Shri Budhadeb Bhattacharjee like leeches for favours. Afer achieving all what they wanted, they have changed side now. They have certainly added some glamour to the ‘Swajan’ rallies. They did not raise a single voice against Trinamool Congress (TMC)-led Bhumi Uchchhed Pratirodh Committee (BUPC) atrocities in Nandigram or one after another Maoist killing of CPI (M) activists in West Medinipur, Purulia and Bankura or thousands of poor people being driven out of their homes into refugee camps for the crime of being CPI (M) supporters. More interestingly, many Naxalite leaders like Purnendu Basu or Dola Sen who are close to Swajan said that such activities should not be condemned too much because that will strengthen the hand of CPI (M).)

“Many prestigious writers, poets, artists, and musicians proclaimed their independence from politics and declared their belief in art for art’s sake. The dogma of the free artist or intellectual, as someone disconnected from political engagement, gained ascendancy and is pervasive to this day.”(p 4)

(Almost all of our ‘Swajan’ intellectuals are saying that they are apolitical because all the political parties are dirty. They are only humanists, and against all form of violence. Democratic movements, according to them, would emerge spontaneously from the masses and without any political hue)

“CIA realized that, in order to undermine the anti-NATO trade unionists and intellectuals, it needed to find (or invent) a Democratic Left to engage in ideological warfare…... The Democratic Left was essentially used to combat the radical left and to provide an ideological gloss on U.S. hegemony in Europe…. Their job was not to question or demand, but to serve the empire in the name of "Western democratic values." (p 5)

(Our ultra-left politicians, along with the Maoists, are undoubtedly doing a good job in denouncing the CPI (M), the former in political and intellectual fields, the latter through the line of annihilation. And all of this is being done for the sake of democracy in this state. Even the Maoists in their pamphlets are exhorting that there is no democratic environment in West Bengal)

This Democratic Left’s anti-CPI (M) rhetorical ejaculations, humanist speeches and proclamations of faith in democratic values and freedom, were a useful ideological cover for the heinous crimes of the Maoist-TMC murderers and their lies and slanders about thousands of cases of rape and infanticide in Nandigram (whereas not a single case was found) and non-development in Lalgarh. If anti-Stalinism was the opium of the Democratic Left during the Cold War, human rights interventionism has the same narcotizing effect today, and deludes contemporary Democratic Leftists.

PERVERTED INTELLECTUALS ON PICNIC TO LALGARH

Taking full advantage of their esteemed profession and high position in the society, the ‘so-called’ intellectuals represented by few film actors, actresses, poets, singers, painters, stage and screen personalities adorned with lipstick, powder, facial make-ups, red ribbon tied around the forehead and other ornamental materials often visit Lalgarh in order to not only extend moral, technical and logistic support to the murderer Chatradhar Mahato and other Maoists working in the garb of “Police Santrash Birodhi Janasadharner Committee” (PSBJC) but also supply them arms, ammunition and money as well as help them in creating total lawlessness.

The ‘pseudo’ intellectuals habituated to live in air-conditioned palatial buildings and travel in air-conditioned flights and cars have started talking much about ‘poverty’ and “under development” amongst tribals. Did these clowns born with silver spoons ever experience what poverty is? These hypocrites have never been found getting involved in any sort of social work either in their localities or anywhere else. They have also never visited Lalgarh with food, clothings, books, pens, pencils, medicines and other basic needs for the poor tribals and their children. Throughout their life they remained engaged in amassing wealth and property. Now these ‘so-called’ intellectuals sold out by way of being on the pay roll of big business houses and imperialists are entrusted with the job of destabilizing the Left Front Government in West Bengal at any cost and anyhow.

The ‘so-called’ poverty of tribals in Lalgarh is nothing but an unacceptable excuse on the part of these ‘pseudo’ intellectuals who think themselves to be above the law of the land.

The Maoists observed “TWO DAYS VIOLENT AND DESTRUCTIVE BANDH” in the entire country demanding openly the release of their three top leaders Kobad Gandhi, Chatradhar Mahato and Chandrabhusan Yadav. But these perverted intellectuals playing into the hands of anti-national forces are still hell bent on proving that Chatradhar Mahato is a tribal leader but not a Maoist.

The Maoist movement in Lalgarh started with an attempt to murder the Chief Minister on 3rd November, 2008. In their subsequent demands, the Maoists never put forward any economic demand. All their demands were political relating to surrender by the Government, physically kneeling down of the Government Officials and winding up all police stations from Jangalmahal areas consisting of three districts including Lalgarh so as to create a free zone of Maoists. In order to achieve their goal they have started butchering CPI (M) leaders and cadres. The Maoists have already paralyzed the normal life in the entire Jangalmahal area.

The frauds have not uttered even a single word against the attempt of murder on the Chief Minister or other brutalities and atrocities perpetrated by the Maoists.

It is useless to expect anything positive from these self-centered hypocrites who have been suffering from intellectual bankruptcy and lack of pragmatism. Their “Friend, Philosopher and Guide” Mahasweta Devi is also not an exception to this. She talks so much about principle and democracy. WHY NOT UAP ACT, 2009 AGAINST MAMATA BANERJEE?

In recent times, the brutalities and atrocities of the Maoists in different states have surpassed all limitations of tolerance. Thousands of innocent people, government officials and policed personnel have not only been butchered by them but they have also blown up schools, railway stations, railway tracks, mobile towers, police stations, government offices, post offices and so on.

Both Dr. Manmohan Singh and P. Chidambaram have been repeatedly saying unequivocally that the Maoists are the single largest threat to the internal security of the nation. But Mamata Banerjee has been keeping close touch with the Maoists to get some petty and narrow political mileage. Her party along with Maoists is engaged in one after another murder and destructive activities in West Bengal. Being an important Minister on the cabinet of Dr. Manmohan Singh, she is not only openly criticizing the joint operation carried out by the Central Government and the State Government against the Maoists in Lalgarh but also demanding immediate stoppage of the same.

This action on her part has been casting serious aspersion on the goodwill and reputation of Dr. Manmohan Singh and his ministry. Moreover, the common people are utterly confused and worried over moving of Dr. Singh and Mamata Banerjee in two irreconcilably different ways.

It is not understood why does he still tolerate her? Even if she and her 18 members withdraw from his ministry, it will not be affected in any manner, whatsoever, because he enjoys the support of more than 300 members in the Parliament.

He should, therefore, sack her immediately from his cabinet in national interest rising above party politics and use “Unlawful Activities Prevention Act, 2009” against her immediately for patronizing antinational terrorist outfits.

She is certainly not above the law of the land.

SO-CALLED HUMAN RIGHTS ORGANISATIONS SUPPORT MAOISTS AND ANTINATIONAL FORCES

The Maoist criminals now trusted associates of the Union Railway Minister had given a call for Bharat Bandh on 3rd October, 2009 in support of their demand for the release of Kobad Gandhi, Chatradhar Mahato and Chandrabhusan Yadav, all Maoist butchers. They also resorted to all kinds of subversive activities including killing of innocent people throughout the country for the same.

After failing to achieve their demand they beheaded barbarically one abducted Police Officer Francis Induver in Jharkhand on 06-10-2009.

The whole world witnessed once again with horror and dismay the brutalities of the Maoists which have even surpassed those of the Talibans of Afghanistan.

More horrible is that the self-styled “Human Rights’ Organizations” and the pseudo intellectuals of West Bengal have not used even a single word to denounce the ghastly incidents of butchering unarmed helpless women and children by Maoists in different parts of the country. Walking one step forward, Sujat Bhadra, the so-called human rights’ activist in Kolkata in a press meet said that the Lalgarh movement has nothing to do with the Maoists. Besides, it is a peoples’ movement and Chatradhar Mahato is not a Maoist leader.

This hypocrite has forgotten the fact that the Maoist leaders Kishenji and Bikash themselves have again and again declared that the Lalgarh movement is led by them and the organization of Chatradhar Mahato is their frontal mass reorganization. The video footage of their interviews and press meet to this effect has repeatedly been aired by various electronic media on different dates on the national and state level.

The “Unlawful Activities Prevention Act” says clearly that any type of advocacy, assistance or propaganda in favour of a banned organization is punishable. It is not understood why this man Sujat Bhadra is still allowed to go scot free even after his taking recourse to subversive anti-national statements and anti-national activities. He should, therefore, be put behind bars immediately for interrogation and further necessary action terms of the provisions of UAPA.

We demand again that both the Central Government and the state governments should cause immediately a thorough investigation into the source of funds and modus operandi of these so called human rights organizations in national interest.
